Due to my job, I am hyper connected – 2 voicemails, mobile phone, blackberry acount, AIM… I was at Safeway parking lot on my way home from shopping for weekend visitors when I found out (via email) that I was accepted into a sought after training program. This is eight weeks after I received, in the same Safeway parking lot, my offer letter. This was a gentle reminder to me that life happens — good and bad — when you least expect it.

I have been traveling a lot lately and haven’t had an opportunity to share much about the adoption. In short, there is not much going on! This weekend we worked on updating our US Federal Government paperwork, but that is about it. The process has slowed to a crawl.
